The inspiration for Salt Peanuts was born during a weekend at the 2016 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Music blogs have proliferated in recent years, though very few have been devoted to the likes of jazz, soul, funk, and their offshoots.
With countless innovative artists stretching the boundaries of pre-defined genres, Salt Peanuts seeks to bring awareness to these artists, spread their music, and ultimately build a diverse community of engaged, inquisitive music lovers.
